Having a wander round this site, its amazing the leap forward in the 
recognition of the need for good software for kids, not just games, but 
educational stuff - especially to make linux/kde attractive for schools, 
which are invariably (unless privately well funded!!) cash strapped 
beasties.....

I have installed most of the available stuff from deb on kde3.02, and the few 
on tar.gz/bz2 thats arent deb'd yet...

I will be heavily utilising my beta testers (Amaryllis, Cassandra and Rhiannon 
- Genevra just wants to pound the keys still!) to let me know how 
effective/user friendly/fun things are:)
