Re: Assistance with Research for Computerbank



Off the top of my head, A lot of the government based
materials are in pdf format, which should be fine in
reading.  From experience the GST cdrom did have a
windows based application (i think it was macromedia)
but there was a lot of data in pdf as well.

...Just had a quick look around, the information about
the CD has this: "This product is produced by
Standards Australia International Limited on behalf of
the ABCB."  (this is from
http://www.abcb.gov.au/content/products/)

www.standards.com.au offers all the australian
standards on one CD for some immense amount, and it
seems to consist of a windows based search/database
tool linked to, again, pdf files :)

As for the whole system of helping out, couldn't
sometihng like bugzilla be useful here, forward the
questions into the system, then people can mark the
questions there working on, so others don't need to.
