Translation System

Hi,

Crimson Fields uses a own translation system for languages.
I would like to ask why you don't use GNU gettext for translations?
This would make a lot of things easier.

- the library is very powerfull
- easy to use
- it takes all specialities of a language (for ex. plural forms) into
  account
- translations were handled outside the program. Neither code files have
to be patched nor the program has to be recompiled to get a new
  language running
- there are powerfull tools out there to create and manage gettext
language files but they could also be created with a simple text editor
- language files are highly portable. A new language for the latest version
of crimson will also work with older versions
- the translator don't need to be a programmer becasue crimson hasn't to
be rebuilt to test the translation
- it's GPL
- it is available as static library for systems don't support gettext natively
  (like windows)

 Best Regards
   Matthias
