With a tiny IRC plug-in in the CF core, we could even automate the match initiation system (though this might addict lazy trolls like myself). First of all, i hope Jens will post Freenode's IRC as an in-frame on the website, after which someone would just need to register an IRC channel. Some people dislike IRC, but as IRC shows IP's, it can be a masterserver/metaserver with as little maintenance as possible. The forum can be registered on Ucoz.
