Yes, indeed, he is the maintainer, he's still around though
I don't want to burden him with more work than he has,
but he hasn't officially relinquished stewardship so
I still refer to him for anything related to the manual.
Even if it's frozen by the read-only website.

Feel free to add the detail about initialisation
to your versioned version. However, this will become
a "historic" document once we have ported it to the
newer interactive system, allowing us to clean it up,
update and upgrade certain things etc.

So the 0.2.7.c version is like a "last stable release"
of the previous version. I want to keep it around in easily
accessible archives because it contains "historic" aspects
(about the project and its evolution) that would take too much
room in the newer version. There is no need to waste efforts
maintaining the past, as I've seen it can also confuser newcomers.
