You can't afford such a beast. A dual UltraSPARC-III (750 MHz) with lots
of RAM costs more than an average car (and I'm not talking about a
2CV, Fiat 500 or Volkswagen). And it's slower than a dual Pentium III.
Alpha might be an option, but I haven't seen one that had enough
memory.

Why doesn't Cedric join us? If he's got something to say, I want to
hear it. Maybe he's the one who triggers my imagination and makes me
produce one of my crazy ideas. Or vice versa.

I guess it's hard to jump into a project like this... you have to
understand all the design issues of the F-CPU architecture in order
to produce something useful. And you have to learn VHDL, which isn't
easy either.

Apropos lonely: what's going on in France?
