It hasn't matured, I have become less and less interested in maintaining
it. Look at the feature request page on sourceforge. I also have ideas
that basically is on my computer but not committed. If people hesitate to
use it they have the option to chose an other gerber viewer under *ix. :)

I actually planned to do two releases, one stable (hence called 1.0) from
the main branch and one unstable (hence 1.1) from BRANCH_render_1. I even
discussed it a little with Hamish Moffat.

But anyhow, I'm happily surprised that the webpage on sourceforge still
has over 100 hits a weekday.
