IMHO, if nothing else than as a matter of style, a non-serif pure form
vector font is really suitable and appropriate for CAD.
For purists, it could be argued that the ISO 3098/1 (aka. DIN 6776) font
should be used. The glyphs consist of pure constant-width lines and
circle segments (?), the line width being 1/10 the character height. It
is not very high on my list of priorities, though.
