gEDA-dev: checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

I am compiling icarus varilog with mingw compiler with the instructions from mingw.txt.

I am getting the error whicei I wrote in the subject field.

the config.log is attached,

can someone help me , please?
