It's not a matter of difficulty.  The various targets have specs that 
say what it should be.  We should follow the spec, even if we disagree 
with it.

The real question:  Should gschem attempt to enforce naming conventions 
of the various targets?

My opinion:  No, but the netlister should convert non-compliant names to 
compliant names, and conversion back should restore the original name.
