Your recent PCB will zoom by z and <shift>z also -- that 's the default.
This is better than it has been, and yes there is interest in making gschem and pcb
more the same as a default, but there's no plan to change gschem from
2-key sequences for commands any time soon... Is there?

Adding a mouse wheel input to gschem is something many would welcome, and
some will want the zoom by z and <shift>z left in a workable in parallel too.

the gattrib program will help with this. It gives a spreadsheet view of all
components with attribs and ther you can find some of the symbols are
with embedded net attributes. This points out that a range of styles are
possible with symbol libraries, where embedded netnames would be a "heavy"
design information content symbol with narrow applicability, and the ones without
are also not going to have any specific device name attrib either -- the "light"
symbol style. You got caught mixing styles. Libraries by volunteers are hard to
make march in unison.

Making lots of sense.
