Is your chip really structured like a slotted chip?  I.e. like a quad
NAND gate, where you have interchangable sets of pins?

If so, create a symbol for the slottable portion just like you would
for a quad NAND gate, and a separate symbol for the remaining pins.

Either way, each symbol must have the same refdes if you want to have
only one chip on your board.
