Re: Indy Setup and Other Stuff

Hey,

         Ok, here goes.

I downloaded version 6.0-0.8.

I have a Pentium 266 /w MMX.
256MB RAM.
VooDoo3 2000 PCI
Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer
31/2 Floppy
100MB IDE Iomega Zip Drive
4x2x24 Memorex CD-RW
36x BTC CD-ROM
5.1Gig Quantum Hard Drive

Indy is installed on a 1819MB partition

I used the locate command on the file and it found it in these locations:
/usr/X11R6/bin/libXmu.so.6
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6
/usr/X11R6/share/libXmu.so.6
/usr/i386-glibc20-linux/lib/libXmu.so.6
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXmu.so.6
:Note: The first three are there because I copied them myself while trying
to get it to work.

As for the question on corrupted RPMS: I have NO clue I cant even get a
workable tree.

And the install offering to setup X: It did, but it came up with errors,
they were:
It said it failed to start X in probing mode and that I should configure my
video board my-self . Also the next probing area, after that, it said there
was a problem with my configuration and whether or not I would like to go
back. And I KNOW my configuration was fine, but...

I also tried the command you gave me:
rpm -ivh -nodeps -force -X*.rpm
And it said that the options were invalid, when I tried with no options it
gave me a tree looking diagram...
