I've had reports that they work, but I'd really like some windows
person with more build experience to look at it too.

No, but I'd love somebody who knows windows build stuff better than me
to write one; if somebody does, I'd be glad to merge it.  I *think*
the mingw build system could be tweaked or coaxed to do it, but I'd
have doubts about which symbols it would choose to export.

(Yes, I'd even take a cmake-based solution, so long as it doesn't
break platforms that prefer to use autotools.)


(Also, sorry to everybody for my general "Good idea, can write a
patch?" approach to questions on the mailing list lately: I'm facing a
really tough deadline at work. I hope to have some more solid Libevent
time again some time in November and December.)
