I think we're going to have to be satisfied, in the short
term, with the generosity of companies who do their own
in-house ports 'just because'.  I think we need to work with
and encourage these guys, and make it easy and convenient
for these ports to get into the hands of the Linux gamer,
for all involved parties.  Maybe even marginally profitable --
e.g. TuxGames and LGP, who AFAICS can (informally and
formally, respectively) take such in-house ports and box
them up like the 'real thing' for Linux gamers.
