Blender is not Open Source at the moment, its still Freeware, no
source available. But the Blender Foundation is trying to buy the
source and release it under GPL, but to do that they need to collect
100'000$, current state after nearly two weeks of collecting is at
47'395$, for more details see (you can also find the last release
