Whoops.  Apparently nobody has gotten an error with that version of the file, 
and so nobody has noticed that "hr" isn't defined.  That's the problem with 
dynamic languages it seems.

How did you notice?  Careful reading?  Unit tests that exercise the error 
conditions?  pychecker?

I've fixed the missing imports in pyutil CVS.
