  - I don't think I did try arma's branch. I can't remember why; probably
 because I didn't understand it.

  - It seemed to me that in a fair comparison between hidden and non-
 hidden, you'd want to control for everything else. Having one server
 hosted one place do hidden and another server hosted someplace else
 running different code do non-hidden seems to introduce other variables
 into the mix. These variables will probably average out over time, but at
 the time I wanted results right away.

  - fcntl.lockf(fh, fcntl.LOCK_EX) grabs an exclusive lock before running
 the download.
