 Pedersen's secret-sharing scheme
 ([http://www.cs.huji.ac.il/~ns/Papers/pederson91.pdf] (sÄc)) is simpler
 and is sufficient for generating a shared random nonce.

 (Usually that paper is only cited for the Pedersen commitment scheme,
 which is more widely used as a building block in cryptosystems and
 protocols.  This time, you want the secret-sharing parts.)
