 Thanks, I have merged your changes. For what it's worth, it's not running
 for me, using pyptlib [https://gitweb.torproject.org/pluggable-
 transports/pyptlib.git/commit/39d2a4fe37e1861b738fef8f620aab24ad361962
 39d2a4fe] from 17 August.

 My preference is not to move it to pyptlib (assume

 to be a good idea to move the functionality into a library, let's let it
 have been prototyped in a shipping application first.
