Comment:

Workarounds to have your preferred language:

  * Log-in every time, even though you're just reading
    * Create dummy account to log-in from locations you don't trust
  * Set the language setting, while not being logged in and never log-in
 from that machine (or browser)
  * Play with the '''accept-language''' header, which requires an add-on
 for Firefox

Warning to all Tor users: Option 3 makes you stick out.

I have chosen 2) for machines I have no control over and 3) my browser.

"ModifyHeaders" for Firefox appears not flexible enough for this purpose,
but "HeaderControlRevived" can do simple magic per domain and includes
 selecting the language.

I treated this as a bug in the first place, but I assume that it is not.
Respecting the settings of a user appears to be a wonderful thing. It's
probably just me, that does not want that all the time (like I use Vidalia
and TBB with en-US), so I'm going to close this ticket.

Feel free to reopen this ticket if anyone feels the need to.

(Thanks erinn and weasel for updating trac)
