 After reading Tom's comment, I'm back for advocating this idea. I didn't
 realize that this happens everywhere anyway, so it wouldn't be out of norm
 if Tor Browser did some automatic redirecting.

 My previous reason for not considering this was:

 > The security implications are unclear, and it can easily politically be
 construed to us pushing an agenda, the security benefits are much less
 clear than with http vs https.

 But if we feel this way, we can just redirect websites to their .onion
 counterpart if it's https + .onion.

 I didn't realize that this proposal/Alt-srv would involve state/tracking,
 so that's something to think about.
