 Has anybody figured out _which_ proxy setting is at issue here?  Tor has
 proxy options like this: HTTPSProxy, HTTPProxy, Socks4Proxy, and
 Socks5Proxy.

 As documented in the manpage, HTTPProxy only applies to directory
 connections, so you would expect OR connections to not use it.
 HTTPSProxy, Socks4Proxy, and Socks5Proxy all seem to successfully stop Tor
 from bootstrapping when I specify a nonexistent proxy.

 Which one is Vidalia setting here?
