 DasFox: I think Nick is right. I think to support this use case, we need
 #2905 done.

 However, I still think Vidalia should not provide an option for HTTP proxy
 support. It seems misleading. I have filed #4724 for this.

 Nick: I am confused about your statements about HTTPProxy vs HTTPSProxy.
 It sounds like Tor should remove HTTPProxy from the manpage, and/or just
 alias it to HTTPSProxy. HTTPSProxy sounds like the only one of the two
 that will still do anything anymore.
