 Also, it would be very helpful to know:

 1. What other extensions do you have installed?
 2. If you run Firefox in a new profile (instructions on how to do that in
 [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_Firefox_profile_on_Windows
 Windows], [http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=2009081403234968
 Mac], or [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-
 remove-firefox-profiles linux]) and install HTTPS Everywhere there, does
 the problem still occur?
