Comment:

 Until #6147 is fixed, close Vidalia/Tor, make the torrc change, and start
 Vidalia again. To apply changes to the running Tor instance, remove all
 comments within the torrc editor in Vidalia.

 Marking as dup of #6147 because you are reporting the same bug.
