 If we had more build developers, I might agree with you. But we don't, so
 the experts will have to do workarounds for now I think.

 The workaround in this case is to configure your Tor to log to a file or
 something, and then read that log when you want to see what it's doing.

 There might also be some Windows program you can use that runs Tor in a
 window? Somewhere out there is a Windows expert who can help you with this
 goal.

 (The reason I don't want to change the Tor build in this case is that
 we're giving you the components that Tor Browser built, and Tor Browser
 wants to build Tor so it doesn't spawn an extra window that scares and
 confuses users.)
