New description:

I have been using Polipo as my personal proxy for a few days and it has
 been working great.

However, today I visited the Dell Outlet website and Polipo crashed twice.
I had to manually SSH into the Linux box and restart polipo. The two URLs
 are

 http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfb/notebooks/ct.aspx?refid=notebooks&s=dfb&cs=28
 http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfb/notebooks/vostronb/cp.aspx?refid=vostronb&s=dfb&cs=28

The last few lines in the log are

 DNS: Host not found
Host dell-dfo_us.baynote.net lookup failed: Host not found (131072).
 DNS: Host not found
Host dell-dfb_us.baynote.net lookup failed: Host not found (131072).
 Restarting pipeline to i.dell.com:80.
Couldn't send request to server: Immediate shutdown requested
 polipo: chunk.c:398: dispose_chunk: Assertion `chunk != ((void *)0)'
 failed.
Established listening socket on port 8123.
Established listening socket on port 8123.
 DNS: Host not found
Host dell-dfb_us.baynote.net lookup failed: Host not found (131072).
Couldn't send request to server: Immediate shutdown requested

 Any ideas why it crashed?
