Comment(by cypherpunks):

 Deselecting "Disable plugins during Tor usage (crucial)" in the Torbutton
 configuration in the "Security Settings"->"Dynamic Content" tab fixes this
 issue in Firefox 3.6 with Torbutton 1.4.0.
