 Mike Perry pointed out that users with local/app firewalls may have
 difficulty with multiple ports. Of course, even with option (1), it's
 necessary for any local firewall to be configured such that the default
 SOCKSPort and ControlPorts are unblocked to TorBrowser. But requiring
 users to have a large number of ports available locally is indeed more
 complicated. I guess this disadvantage needs to be weighed against the
 danger that Mozilla won't accept a patch for SOCKS username/password. Does
 anyone have a view on this?
