 As of about 12 hours ago, I made an unfortunate discovery. Gtalk was not
 transmitting my messages most of the time--especially while watching
 youtube videos. Instead, it was bouncing the message with an error code.
 Hexchat thought the error message was the response and worked with it as
 though it came from the other party. I am very sorry for the confusion and
 I am quite disappointing at this point.

 It seems that Gtalk will only deliver so many messages in a given period
 of time. I tried other chat servers, and they are much slower. I can NOT
 watch youtube videos with hexchat.

 Though I seem to be able to access facebook.

 I will post any updates as they come.
