Comment:

Just to add a comment here that may be useful.

My justification for running ooniprobe at the University of Aberdeen is in
 two parts:

 1) My research is in the area of Internet Measurement with direct overlap
with OONI. Although we often have goals of enabling transport protocol
innovation or verifying new transport protocol modifications are viable it
is exactly the same scientific techniques that are used and my visibility
of OONI's development helps to inform my research.

 2) When performing Internet Measurements it is important that I can verify
I am testing the paths I believe I am testing and not just testing
 University/ISP/Government/Security Service infrastructure that has
intercepted and rerouted the connection, as this would lead to results
that have not been generated with "good science".
