Comment:

 At the least, the trailing backslash should be removed from the
 [https://www.torproject.org/docs/tor-hidden-service.html.en documentation]

 It's easy enough to customize any example given e.g. to use a custom
 folder. But, if the given syntax doesn't work, then even the tech savvy
 are at a loss.

 I'm programming savvy, used a custom and readable folder, and still it
 took me couple hours to discover that the backslash is what caused the
 HiddenServiceDir line in torrc to fail (with the end slash there, Tor even
 moved the next line (HiddenServicePort...) to the end of the
 HiddenServiceDir line)

 So, please remove the trailing slash in the documentation, e.g.:

     HiddenServiceDir C:\Users\username\Documents\tor\hidden_service


 And if fail of the trailing backslash is a bug, then its fix can wait when
 the above edit at least helps. :)
