Comment(by arma):

 Yeah -- the level of detailed and ongoing privacy-invasive tracking that
 Mozilla performs with addons.mozilla.org is shocking. The question should
 be why any privacy-concerned extension would subject their users to that
 level of monitoring, not why an extension isn't.
