New description:

 Pidgin, unless configured otherwise, uses the system user name
 as the username in IRC. This seems bad for anonymity; it should
 probably be set to the user's nick. It leaks the fact that one
 is using libpurple in both the real name (by default) and in
 /VERSION requests.

 Do you know a config option to not leak the username?  If so, we could set
 it in the default config.
