Comment:

 OK, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Tab Mix Plus and the problem
 seems to have gone away. Sorry for the report, I should have tried this
 sort of troubleshooting first. Anyway thanks for the great support, and
 thanks for your contribution to the project.

 Seems to be fixed by installing Tab Mix Plus AFTER installing Torbutton.
 I'll set bug to Fixed.
