[tor-bugs] #16156 [Tor Browser]: Tor browser does not display correct exit node

#16156: Tor browser does not display correct exit node
---------------------------------+----------------------------------
 Reporter: ctbu | Owner: tbb-team
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: major | Milestone:
Component: Tor Browser | Version: Tor: unspecified
Keywords: circuit compromised | Actual Points:
Parent ID: | Points:
---------------------------------+----------------------------------
When I visited the site (with TOR browser)

 https://check.torproject.org/?lang=en_US

to check if I am connected to TOR I got the message that I am not
connected to the TOR network. My IP address appeared to be

 64.120.32.101

which was not recognized as valid TOR exit node. The circuit displayed by
TOR browser, however, was (I have a screenshot of this)

 62.210.201.161 (entry)
 212.129.42.9
 108.61.229.83 (exit)

I am not sure if this is a bug in Tor Browser or a corrupted TOR node
which was detected by Tor Browser.

 Technical Info:
 version: 4.5.1
 OS: linux x64

PS: This is the second time that Tor Browser could not connect
to the TOR network. A couple of months ago, it reported IP 85.119.84.57 as
not being part of TOR network, although it was an earlier Browser version.
