 Regarding tarball size, I just looked at the previous version, and that
 has a tarball size of 48M, too. We added some stuff since December 2017,
 so the 103M is at least not totally crazy. Working on this in another
 ticket sounds reasonable.

 And yes, the change log doesn't contain many changes. I gave up adding
 entries, because we made so many changes. If it works for everyone else to
 release anyway, it works for me, too.
