 My exit scanner broke near the end of its first run, just before it
 collected the information it would have needed to decide whether to send
 mails to the list.  I give up on ever running it again.

 I've sent the logs and other data from my one exit-scanner run to folks
 who can debug yucky broken Python code.  They can deal with mailing the
 results.
