 Quick thought while reading an unrelated ticket: maybe we should change
 the output file name format to `<physical-host>_<virtual-host>-access.log-
 YYYYMMDD[.xz]` to stay closer to the expected input file name format
 `<physical-host>/<virtual-host>-access.log-YYYYMMDD[.gz]`. I know that we
 previously said that most people would want to sort by virtual host. But
 this scheme is a lot easier to implement and will have  potentially fewer
 bugs, because we'll just have to cut off the input file name after
 `-access.log` and prefix it with the parent directory name plus `_`. And
 if somebody really just cares about one virtual host, they can easily grep
 the list of files. End of random thought.
