#3590: torproject.org/download is very confusing

 Reporter:  cypherpunks  |          Owner:  phobos
     Type:  defect       |         Status:  accepted
 Priority:  normal       |      Milestone:
Component:  Website      |        Version:
 Keywords:               |         Parent:

Comment(by arma):

 https://torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en includes a link to
 e.g.
 https://torproject.org/download/download.html.en#linux

 But when I load that page, my browser goes to the #linux anchor, and
 *then* my javascript expands the operating system stanza based on
 autodetecting my OS.

 The result is that anchors into the download page don't go to where you
 intended them to go.

 Similarly, check out
 https://www.torproject.org/download/download.html.en#warning and where it
 sends you.
