 Sounds like it.

 This should have caught it,

 tor_assert(destlen >= srclen*2+1);
 }}}

 But I guess the tests (and my testing) didn't exercise that code path when
 purpose wasn't `DIR_PURPOSE_FETCH_MICRODESC`.
