 Yes, this is as ready as it will ever be.

 Your test seems appropriate, but I would suggest to look at what karsten
 has been doing over at #1944.
 He is using torperf which is more robust, and he also has a Tor patch for
 cleaning the rendezvous caches of Tor that impact performance.
