 I have actually checked this setting directly in drupal DB and it seems
 like it is more complicated than I thought to change this value for single
 posts instead of just having comments closed by default.

 The reason behind this is that with the long and complicated migration
 from the old blog we have some of the data in different tables, so we
 should be a bit careful with changing stuff manually.
