This has been a "condoned" use of BT and Tor for a long time, and indeed
AFAIK, is the only "reasonable" use of P2P on Tor.

It's not perfect - since transfers are still done in the clear - but it
does thwart the current most commonly used method for enumerating users
(i.e., scraping the tracker). It also uses almost zero bandwidth on the
Tor network.
