I took your advice and installed 64 bit Linux on my new Blutmagie
hardware. Besides 64 bit interface counters look much more imposing.

For the sake of performance the server is equipped with a C2 E8600
desktop cpu instead of the default socket 775 Xeon. After some
discussions my box mover Thomas Krenn made a special offer, selling it
without Xeon cpu. Altogether I've spend 1200 euros, so hopefully it
won't be confiscated by german police shortly :-)
