Re: [tor-talk] Potential uses for the Tor network

I am under the impression that TorChat has been a dead project for some time. https://invisible.im/ adopted Ricochet a little while ago, and I know that it is under active development. Otherwise, diversity in software development is good and new projects taking advantage of the Tor network would be awesome.

Good luck!

More generally, Tor provides an enhanced SOCKS proxy interface, so and application that talks SOCKS can use it.
See the design docs.
