Re: [pygame] Pygame Installation problems (Python 2.6.2)

Hi James,

I did compile the dependencies once with gcc 4.x since the 64bit cross compiler is itself a 4.x version. But that is as far as I got. I too don't have a 64bit machine.

Has anybody tried to build a 64-bit pygame? (either Windows or Linux?) I assume that would mean building 64-bit versions of all the dependancy libraries too.

I would give it a shot myself, but I don't actually have any 64 bit machines :)

It's really my own fault for not paying attention. I did have 64bit

2.6) which of course didn't work.
I got rid of the 64bit Python and installed 32bit Python and now pygame is
   recognized with no problems.
