Re: [pygame] growing out of idle ide



Personally all the ides I have tried were pretty much crap. A standard text editor with syntax highlighting like Emacs or vi is probably the best choice. Useful to learn anyways and for getting started its really not too hard, grab the emacs cheat sheet and print it out to leave on your desk.  To each his own of course.

I have it installed. It does look interesting. But since I spend much of my time coding Pygame extension modules in C I haven't used it much. Mostly I use Gnu Emacs.
