For me it all works just fine. I've a while ago totally migrated to
pygame, and have no problems at all. Speed is the same too.

A few questions though.

Would it be possible to pack the docs in a tar.gz/zip for download? I
usually develop at home and have to dial up with a modem just to look at
the docs. With pysdl I used to just open a few Netscapes, open all the
needed pysdl doc pages and then I could view the docs in NS after closing
the connection. It worked quite ok. With pygame there is a lot more docs,
at least more spread out in various files, so the old approach is a
hassle. Being able to download the docs locally would be nice.

What extra would Numeric provide to pygame? It apparently is a nice
library for manipulating arrays etc, but would I benefit from trying to
install it? So far I mostly blit out loaded icons in my game, but I need
to do a fair bit on direct pixel manipulation too sooner or later (drawing
lines etc).

Speaking of lines, has anybody some nice routines for drawing a line on a
surface from point A to point B? This would save me from doing own (read
slow) routines...

Aw, back to paid work...
